New Motor Vehicles Amendment Act, 2019.

The road transport ministry of India issued a notification dated August 28, 2019 listing out all the laws that have come into effect from September 1, 2019 under the New Motor Vehicle Act, 2019. The new act includes stiffer penalties for traffic violations and new rules pertaining to grants of licenses, permits and vehicle fitness standards. Below is the list of new penalties in case of violation of road regulations.
